The Billy Bronsted String Band brings together the best of Wisconsin's north and south, pairing Billy's plainspoken, down-home songwriting with the progressive fire that Jordan Kroeger and Ernest Brusubardis IV built on the state's thriving bluegrass scene. Mandolin phenom Ryan Ogburn rounds out the lineup, and together these four turn string band arrangements into something that respects tradition while refusing to stay put.

Hailing from Milwaukee, Recalcitrant brings a funky reggae influenced hip-hop jam rock everywhere they go. Conceived in 2002 as an underground hip-hop project, the group quickly found themselves gravitating towards live performance incorporating musical instruments. While staying true to hip-hop roots, the band began experimenting with different styles, combining elements of rock, reggae, funk, and jam influences to create a sound that is purely Recalcitrant.

With focus on original music that has been described as “progressive reggae”, live performance is always a fun filled energetic event. The Late 2000's found the band sharing the stage with national acts such as,The Big Wu, Orgone, The Heavy Pets, The Original Wailers,Pennywise,Les Claypool and Cosmic Railroad. Formed in 2019 when Laura Bomber and (Red) Ben Lila began writing and performing together, the band grew its earthy, heartfelt sound over years of collaboration before expanding in 2024 with the addition of Paul Bannach and Sheilagh Dandy Lyon. Bomber & Red delivers powerhouse vocal harmonies, skillful musicianship, and resonant lyricism—music that draws you in and sends chills up your spine. Their performances blend folk, Americana, and soulful storytelling into a sound that lingers long after the final chord fades, leaving audiences with a deeply personal connection. From theaters to vineyards to bluegrass festivals such as Mile of Music, Ice Dance, and Jackpine, Bomber & Red is steadily finding its place in the national Americana-folk scene. Blue Rose is a rootsy rock band based out of Chicago. Their original music, written by lead vocalist Jori Rose Griffith and lead guitarist Marcus Gebauer, is described as relatable, emotive storytelling with an edge. They write what they feel and feel what they write, inspiring listeners to connect and come along for the ride. Backed by bandmates Mike Gruber (keys), Nicholas Kapche (bass guitar), Eric Matteson (drums), and Sean Shiel (lap slide), they incorporate elements of folk, country, classic rock and indie jam, describing their sound as new country with an old soul. In addition to their original music, cover songs they play (ranging from 70's classic rock to current Americana anthems) are artfully selected to fit their unique vibe and sound. 

Salmon Diane is a Milwaukee-based country band who got their start in 2023 with a “Honky Tonk Brunch” residency at Promises in Walker’s Point. Comprised of members of country/americana bands from all over Wisconsin (Driveway Thriftdwellers, Ruthie and the Ramblin’ Kind, Long Mama, and Derek Pritzl and the Gamble), and a repertoire spanning classic country to 90’s country (and a few originals), Salmon Diane has taken their “Brunch” show all over Wisconsin, performing in different cities, at varying meal times.

Elizabeth Mary, an independent country-rock singer-songwriter, wife, mom, children’s book author and media personality is based in Madison, Wisconsin. Raised on a dairy farm in rural eastern Iowa, Elizabeth Mary performed her first shows to herds of disinterested cattle and cornfields. Music was always a constant in her life drawing heavy influence from 90’s country and pop music. She performed for many years across the Midwest with well-known cover bands refining her craft of performing and captivating audiences at local venues and large festivals. Elizabeth Mary fills her schedule playing over 120+ acoustic and full band shows annually performing small venues to large music festivals playing a mix of country, pop, classic rock and her original music. Her debut studio album, “Meet Me in Madison”, released in 2019 featured multiple singles that received regional country radio play.

Since their formation in 2018, Wonderful Bluffer has sought nothing more than to disarm and enchant audiences with the undying spirit of rock n’ roll. In the years since, the Milwaukee-based rock band has managed to craft a style of music all their own, with influences spanning many genres.

Known for their high-energy live performances, the band seeks nothing more than to share their music with anyone willing to come and listen to what they have to offer. Shows are consistently filled with dueling guitar and keyboard solos accompanied by howling, ethereal vocals, all supported by the bone crunching rhythms of distorted basses and thunderous drums.

In the present day, Wonderful Bluffer continues to share their brand of top shelf rock n roll; providing electric evenings of entertainment to crowds at renowned venues and festivals across the Midwest and beyond.

Collin hails from Sheridan, Wyoming, where wide-open spaces and a healthy blue-collar chip on his shoulder helped shape his sound. With his musical roots wrapped around the storytelling of Jamey Johnson, the grit of John Fogerty, and the edge of James Hetfield, Collin delivers a brand of country that leans dark, honest, and unapologetically raw. Blending outlaw country with a heavier, rock-infused backbone, his sound walks the line between tradition and rebellion. Built for backroads, barrooms, and wherever real stories still matter.
